Ready to get started, Let's Go! Talk to Sales

Risk that protects your approval ratio, not a report about it.

Fraud and compliance problems cost you three ways: lost sales, chargebacks, and letters from the card brands. QorCommerce works on all of it inside the platform that runs your payments, so problems get caught while there is still time to act. Circuit Breaker watches live traffic. Network Compliance Monitoring keeps you inside every brand's rules.

The Qompliance Console · Circuit Breakers

Circuit Breaker watches your authorization traffic as it happens and stops the transactions that would hurt you: fraud runs, activity far outside your approved profile, and traffic patterns that drag down your approval ratio or draw the attention of a card-brand monitoring program.

The name says what it does. Like the breaker in an electrical panel, it trips before the damage spreads to your MID, your portfolio, or your sponsor bank. You see the result: fewer bad transactions reach the network, and your account stays healthy.

Here is what that is worth in dollars. Every doomed transaction that reaches the network costs you twice: once in fees, and again in what it does to your standing with issuers and card brands. Most merchants find out only when approvals sag or a monitoring letter arrives. Circuit Breaker's job is to make sure that letter never gets written.

It runs on live traffic today, and enforcement rolls out per portfolio as each control proves itself on real volume. A control has to earn the right to decline your transactions.

What is MID/BIN Intelligence?

Because QorPay is the processor, we see the whole life of every transaction: the approval, the settlement, and any dispute that follows. Fraud tools bolted on from outside see a slice. We see the outcome.

The Qompliance Console · MID/BIN Intelligence

MID/BIN Intelligence turns that full picture into two things you can feel in your numbers: MIDs that stay safe to use, and traffic routed where it approves best. Higher approvals, fewer surprises.

If you have ever wondered why the same card approves at one store and declines at another, this is the layer that answers it, and puts the answer to work for you. Every point of approval rate is revenue you already earned; this is the system that stops it leaking.

Circuit Breaker is the first delivered piece. More lands in stages, each one proven on live volume before it can touch a transaction. The MID/BIN Intelligence page has the full story.

Headroom = disputes still allowed before 90 bps at the current settled count. Disputes lag sales by weeks, so treat it as optimistic — watch the trend, not one month.

Card-brand rules change constantly, and the penalty for drifting outside them is fines or termination. Network Compliance Monitoring tracks every merchant against Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Amex requirements continuously and flags drift early. You hear from us with time to fix the issue, not from a network with a fine attached.

Merchants see their own standing too: one page showing where you sit with every brand, including where your dispute ratio is heading before the month closes. No waiting for a letter to find out you have a problem.

Ask your current processor when they last warned you about a brand rule before it cost you money. For most merchants the honest answer is never; the first notice is the fine. We think the warning is the product.

What happens when risk acts?

Every risk action on QorCommerce is recorded, reviewable, and reversible, and a person owns every consequential call. If something on your account is ever paused or held, you get a plain answer: what happened, who decided, and what fixes it.

Your sponsor bank's examiner gets the same answer. That is by design.

What is qorSignals.js?

qorSignals.js is one small script tag on your site and checkout. It reads the signals fraud gives off and scores every transaction against fraud activity across the whole QorPay network. A stolen card that hit another merchant this morning arrives at your store already flagged. No single merchant can build that picture alone, and no outside fraud vendor sees it.

It is private by design: it runs only with consent, never collects card numbers or what a customer types, and keeps data briefly. Setup is the tag and one setting. The result is the one that matters: fraud caught at checkout instead of surfacing a month later as a chargeback against your ratio.

Ask for the qorSignals integration guide.

How are disputes handled?

Disputes appear in your portal the moment they arrive from the network, with the reason code and the response deadline attached. You submit evidence in the same place, and because processing and disputes run on one platform, the transaction record is already attached to the case. The Disputes page covers prevention and managed response.

What fraud tooling is included?

The standard card-not-present controls are built into the flow: AVS and CVV checks, 3-D Secure with its liability shift, and velocity controls. Each returns results your integration can act on automatically. The fraud prevention guide covers setup.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What chargeback rate thresholds apply?

The card brands set the ceilings: Visa and Mastercard both flag merchants around a 0.9 to 1% dispute ratio. QorCommerce tracks your standing against those thresholds continuously and tells you before a brand program does. You get time to fix the trend, not paperwork after enrollment.

Who is liable for fraud losses?

It follows the transaction type. 3-D Secure authenticated transactions shift fraud liability to the card issuer; unauthenticated card-not-present fraud generally lands on the merchant as a chargeback. That is why the platform works to stop fraud at checkout instead of counting it afterward.

Does HIPAA apply to payment processing?

It can. Healthcare merchants sometimes pass information that touches HIPAA scope alongside a payment, and QorPay supports compliant handling for those flows. Tell us about your setup and we will walk you through how it is configured.

What happens if my account trips a risk control?

A person reviews it. Automated systems flag; people make the consequential calls, and every action is recorded and reversible. If something on your account is paused, you get a plain answer about what happened and what fixes it.

Do merchants have to manage PCI compliance alone?

No. QorPay is audited at PCI DSS Level 1, and the integration options are built to keep card data off your systems. Most merchants end up with the shortest version of the PCI self-assessment instead of a full audit.

Auditing your processor's risk controls?

Ask us the hard questions: exposure limits, monitoring cadence, dispute thresholds. The people who run the risk platform will answer them directly.
